Rockapella

My hands hurt from clapping. My throat hurts from screaming and cheering.

We went on our Valentine's date this evening. It. was. a. blast.

A local female A Capella group opened the show. 4Real were four actual high school students putting out a CD! They were pretty good. I was floored when I found out how old they were.

When Rockapella finally came out on stage, a smile spread across my face. It didn't leave until we got home (when I found out Liam was a terror while we were away). Those guys know how to entertain! The moves, the funny antidotes, the voices, verbal percussion! I could listen to them all day... maybe not as long as Josh Groban, but pretty close.

So as a result of this concert, I have a new celebrity crush. Maybe even better than Mike Rowe and Gabriel Macht. George Baldi is a smooth base. When I saw him do the choreography throughout the show, I thought maybe he was recruited from Boyz 2 Men. Not just a smooth silky voice, but he had the smooth moves too! Later on we found out that he was in their group before they became famous. George went to college like his parents wanted and his friends became famous! Wow! I'd have to say George has more talent than all the guys in Boyz 2 Men combined. Just my humble opinion.

Ian would smirk when I'd sneak out my camera and take video clips... the lens would always veer towards George and maybe even zoom in on him a bit. I have a really understanding husband... one that doesn't mind wiping my drool away as I swoon for another man. We are a couple that appreciates the attributes of talented and pretty people.

Thank you, Ian, for a FAN TAS GREAT evening out! I can't wait until our next rendezvous in March for another A Capella group, Alley Cats.

Really jealous... Love Rockapella since the days of "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?" I was too old to enjoy the show, but my little sister loved it, so I always had to pop in and listen to them sing!

So, so jealous... Glad you had a great time! :-)

(I'm sure Liam's uncle still loves him!)

I'm glad you enjoyed and I am also glad that you and your hubby are secure like that....it takes a good marriage to be able to handle the other person having a famous crush!
