Toddler Sanity

I know I am not alone in the toddler insanity these days. I thought you girls would like this list of ideas to keep things rolling more smoothly in your life with a toddler. CLICK HERE for the article.

I liked this last quote:

"If you're a stay-at-home mom or dad, the main point to remember is that you're staying home to raise children and spend quality time with them, not to have the perfect house. With toddlers, a perfect house is an oxymoron!"

Gina, I figured by your archives that it has been too long since you have done a MeMe...so, Tag, you're IT!

What's a toddler got to do with it? With kids period, a perfect house is an oxymoron.

I figure whether I am staying at home or working if I am being a great mom, my house will show it, and show more than I want it to.

I just tell folks that "my house was clean in my previous life time- sorry you missed it."

No doubt...

I haven't had a perfect house in two years...

right now..
looks like a toy bomb went off!!
It's great...

plus, I learned the first time around...

IT GOES WAY TOO FAST... AND BEFORE I KNOW IT..
MATTHEW WILL BE GROWN...
AND ALL THIS CUTE STUFF WILL BE OVER... :-(

I agree with Kayelyn...toddlers are not necessary for a messy house!

This is a great quote for SAHMs & SAHDs to have on the fridge. It is so easy to get caught up in cleaning and housekeeping that we forget the real reason we are home. Thanks for the reminder!
