Tonight I did a little experiment.
A wonderful friend of mine wants me to take photos of a dress rehearsal at the end of the summer, so I thought some tungsten-no-flash photography practice was in order. I called another local theater and asked if I could attend one of their rehearsals and snap snap snap - they said yes!
I got to see little dancers show their stuff on the eve of their big performances. It was a fun opportunity. Here are some of the results.
Note: High ISO results in grainy photos. But grainy can be artsy. Yes, it can.

Those turned out so cool, Gina! They *are* artsy! Love them!
I think they are pretty neat! Love the black and white ones... hey did you ever get that logo I sent to you? Just wondering?
I'm just loving the black and whites as well!
Very nice!
You did a great job!
Great job! And I left something for you on my recipe blog: kissthegrits.blogspot.com
Gina, these look amazing!!! You are so talented!
These are fantastic photos! I am also a huge fan of the black and white.
As a photographer myself, I KNOW how hard it is to take beautiful photos of action on a darkened stage. Great job!
