Nothing to report

Not much has been going on lately.

Last weekend was kind of hairy with Liam's fits and running off in public. I was so mad on Saturday about losing my child almost 3 times, but it was my fault he was in public in the first place. We had a few stops to make and I over did it. Luckily he didn't get hurt or kidnapped. As mad as I was, I didn't want to take him to the rodeo Sat night... but we did anyway, of course.

I've slowly learned this week what the repercussions are for those dogs killing our chickens. The owners have double fines for the leash laws, vicious animals and another one I can't remember. They have all those fines to pay AND they have a court date in August. I hope they learn their lesson. My mole neighbor advised me that they are at least feeding their dogs food and water now. She has committed to make calls to dispatch if they get out again.

Anyway, Ian has been working his tail off, 15 hours on Monday and again on Tuesday. He thinks he'll get off at 5pm today, but he went in at 6am. He worked all day Saturday too. Crisis at work... lots of stuff to redo in their databases. I am surprised he's been as chipper as he has. He leaves on a business trip tomorrow and wont' be back till Sunday too... so I will officially have been a single mother for a full week. Whah, boo hoo. It actually hasn't been bad. I am just grateful Ian hasn't lost his cool with all the stress and long hours.

I've got to write Liam's birthday letter today. Watch it not post until the weekend... just watch. I am so bad the past few months. Oh well. It will get done, we at least know that much.

Side Note: I had a dream about Terri and Matthew last night. We went to meet them in Vegas and had SUCH a good time! There were tons of people there though... like a family reunion, but I think they were other blog friends of her's. Great fun. I love dreams like that. I'll take it as a sign that I need to get down to Beaver soon. That's more realistic than Vegas.

I'm still freaked out about those dogs! I would have thought they would have been removed from the home.

I'm glad those owners are paying for what their dogs did. It's their own fault. If people are going to have animals they need to take care of them properly and train them.

I feel for you over Liams fits and stuff, but I just have to tell you cuz no one told me that three year olds are WAY worse!!! I'm about to throw myself down the stairs sometimes because of Cameryn and her constant battles with me over EVERYTHING!!!! Not to minimize what you are going through now though cuz it's still difficult then too. I've heard good things about 4 year olds though!! Only a few months for me to go for that now!!!! YAY!!!

Oh No! Something happened to your chickens! I missed that. How sad, I love that you have chickens. :)
