Thank goodness

I am grateful that...

I don't have a house being destroyed in Cuba or Texas.
The office job is not longer than 8 hours per day.
I have the office mates that aren't annoying.
I don't have to worry about chin whiskers.
I don't have to cook dinner tonight.
I don't have an overly needy child.

Live like a Spy

My friend Katie posted about The Moscow Rules. I had never heard of them.

I like that Murphy's Law is mentioned in the rules.

My Hubby - In 1930

Good Qualities:
A fast and efficient worker, not the puttering sort.
Steady worker and good provider.
Ardent Lover
Carries adequate insurance for family.
Doesn't interfere with wife's correction of children.
Eats whatever is served without grumbling or criticism.
Good humored in the morning.
Handy about house fixing iron, vacuum, hanging pictures, etc.
His children are pleased at his arrival home.
If wife or child is ill, phones from work to inquire.
Kisses wife when leaving for work or a trip.
Leaves car for wife on days she may need it.
Neat in appearance.
Often tells wife he loves her.
Remembers birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Surprises wife occasionally with candy, flowers, gifts.
Tries to keep wife equipped with modern labor saving devices.
Usually comes home with a smile.
Waits up for wife or calls for her at her party.
Well liked by men, courageous--not a sissy.
Willing to go shopping with wife.
Willingly prepares own breakfast.
Does not use tobacco.

Not so good qualities:
Argues with or curses other motorists.
Calls "Where is..?" without first hunting the object.
Careless in bathroom--leaves razor out or ring around tub.
Dislikes to dress or shave on Sunday.
Leaves shoes/socks in living room.
Monopolizes radio (ie TV) on Sunday as for the baseball broadcasts.
Reads newspaper at the table.
Stubborn--rarely admits that he is wrong. Seldom apologizes.
Will not help wife's relatives as much as his own.

With that said… he got:
